Rio Gripshooter

For years when looking for a new running/shooting line for your spey or other shooting head system there were basically two options. Coated line or monofilament. Both have advantages and disadvantages, with a diehard following by anglers around the world. Today we have a third option in Rio's Gripshooter running line. This running line is Rio's Slickshooter monofilament line with a 15ft coated handling section at the front end. What we love about this stuff is you get the best of both worlds: the comfortable grip of traditional fly lines, with the added distance of the monofilaments.
